The LDH Studio - Booking Confrimation Policy

At The LDH Studio, we want your booking experience to feel smooth, clear, and reassuring from start to finish. This Booking Confirmation Policy explains what happens after you make an appointment and what you can expect leading up to your visit.

All stylists in the studio are independent, self-employed professionals, which means each stylist manages their own appointments, confirmations, and communication.


Appointment Confirmation


Once you book an appointment—online, in salon, or directly with your stylist—you will receive a confirmation message (email or SMS) from your stylist or their booking system.

Your confirmation will include:

  • The date and time of your appointment 
  • The service(s) booked 
  • Your stylist’s name 
  • The salon address 
  • Any deposit requirements
  • Patch testing reminders (if applicable)
     

If you do not receive a confirmation within a reasonable timeframe, please contact your stylist directly.


Deposit Requirements


Some stylists may request a deposit for certain appointments, such as:

  • Colour services 
  • Hair extensions 
  • Multi-service bookings 
  • Specialist or long-duration appointments
     

Your appointment is only considered fully confirmed once the deposit (if required) has been received.
Deposits are managed directly by the self-employed stylist, according to their own terms.


Appointment Reminders


You will receive a reminder notification prior to your appointment, usually 24–48 hours in advance.

Reminders may include:

  • Time and date confirmation 
  • Patch test reminders 
  • Pre-appointment instructions (e.g., attend with clean/dry hair for certain services) 
  • Links to policies or forms, if needed
     

Please ensure your contact details are up to date.


Patch Test Confirmation (for Colour Services)


For colour appointments:

  • A mandatory skin test must be completed 48 hours before your colour service. 
  • If you have not completed a patch test in time, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
     

Your stylist will send instructions on how to arrange your test.


Changes to an Appointment


If you need to reschedule or amend your service:

  • Please contact your stylist directly, as they manage their own diaries. 
  • The minimum notice period for changes is 48 hours. 
  • Late changes may result in a cancellation fee, in line with the Cancellation Policy.
     

Cancellations & No-Shows


When you receive your booking confirmation, you also agree to our Cancellation Policy, which includes:

  • 48-hour cancellation notice 
  • Late cancellations may incur a 75% fee 
  • No-shows may be charged 90% of the service cost
     

Each stylist may enforce their policy individually.


Service Adjustments & Corrections


If you have any concerns following your appointment:

  • You must contact your stylist within 7 days. 
  • All service-related discussions, corrections, or adjustments will be handled directly by your stylist, as they are self-employed.
     

Your Responsibilities as a Client


By confirming your appointment, you agree to:

  • Arrive on time 
  • Attend mandatory patch tests where required 
  • Provide accurate contact details 
  • Follow pre-appointment and aftercare instructions 
  • Notify your stylist of any allergies, illnesses, or changes that may affect your service
     

These steps help ensure the best possible experience and outcome.


Studio Communications


The LDH Studio may send:

  • General salon updates 
  • Policy updates 
  • Operational changes
     

But communications relating specifically to your appointment come directly from your stylist.
