The LDH Studio - Complaints Policy

At The LDH Studio, we want every client to enjoy a positive, thoughtful, and beautifully crafted experience. Because all stylists working within the studio are independent, self-employed professionals, each stylist is responsible for the services they personally provide.
This policy explains how concerns are handled fairly, respectfully, and directly with the stylist who carried out your service.


Our Commitment to You


We promise that:

  • Every concern will be listened to with care and professionalism 
  • You will always be treated with respect 
  • Complaints will be directed to the stylist who completed your service 
  • We will aim to resolve issues as quickly and constructively as possible
     

Your comfort and confidence matter to us.


Who to Contact if You Have a Concern


As all stylists are self-employed, complaints must be addressed directly to the stylist who carried out your appointment.
You can contact them by:

  • Speaking to them in the salon 
  • Emailing or messaging them through their booking system or contact details 
  • Requesting contact details at reception if needed
     

If you are unsure how to reach your stylist, The LDH Studio management can help direct your concern, but cannot make decisions on behalf of a self-employed stylist.


Timeframes


We kindly ask that any concerns related to your service are raised within 7 days of your appointment.
This allows the stylist to assess your hair in its current condition and offer the most appropriate support or adjustments.


What Happens Next


Once your stylist receives your complaint, they will:

  1. Acknowledge your concern promptly 
  2. Discuss the issue with you — this may include inviting you back for a consultation so they can assess your hair in person 
  3. Offer possible solutions, which may include adjustments or corrective services


Please note:

  • Any corrections or adjustments will be carried out only by the original stylist, as they are independently responsible for their own work.
     

Service Adjustments, Corrections & Refunds


Because stylists are self-employed:

  • Decisions regarding corrections or adjustments are made solely by the stylist. 
  • Refunds, if applicable, are at the stylist’s discretion — The LDH Studio cannot issue refunds on behalf of any independent stylist. 
  • Adjustments or re-dos must be completed in-house by the stylist who performed the original service.
     

During this process, our priority is to support fair, professional resolution while respecting each stylist’s independent business.


Behaviour & Respect


We maintain a calm, inclusive, and respectful environment for both clients and stylists.
We do not tolerate:

  • Aggressive or abusive behaviour 
  • Harassment or discrimination 
  • Intimidation or disrespect
     

We are always happy to work through concerns constructively and kindly.


Continuous Improvement


Although each stylist manages their own services, we regularly gather feedback to ensure The LDH Studio remains a professional, welcoming, and high-standard environment for all who work and visit here.
