The LDH Studio - Refund Policy

At The LDH Studio, we want every client to leave feeling confident, cared for, and completely happy with their experience. As all stylists working within the studio are self-employed, they each manage their own services, pricing, adjustments, and decisions regarding refunds.

This policy explains how refunds are handled fairly and transparently.


Self-Employed Stylist Structure


All services provided at The LDH Studio are delivered by independent stylists, each operating their own business.
Because of this:

  • The LDH Studio cannot issue refunds on behalf of any stylist 
  • Refund decisions are made solely by the stylist who carried out your service 
  • Any concerns or requests must be directed to the stylist who provided the appointment
     

We are happy to help you contact your stylist, but cannot make financial decisions for them.


Refund Eligibility


Refunds are not automatically offered for hair services, as time, expertise, and professional products have already been provided.

However, if you are unhappy with your result, your stylist will always aim to:

  • Discuss your concerns 
  • Invite you in for a follow-up consultation 
  • Offer an adjustment or correction where appropriate
     

Corrections may be complimentary at the stylist’s discretion.


Timeframe for Raising Concerns


If you have an issue with your service, please contact your stylist within:

  • 7 days of your appointment
     

This allows them to assess your hair in its current condition and determine the best next steps.


Corrections Instead of Refunds


In line with industry practice, refunds are rarely issued, as stylists generally prefer to resolve concerns by:

  • Adjusting the colour 
  • Refining the cut 
  • Offering alternative solutions
     

Any corrective work must be completed by the original stylist and in the salon.


Situations Where Refunds Are Not Offered


Refunds are generally not available in the following situations:

  • You changed your mind after the service 
  • You requested a style or colour that requires multiple sessions 
  • You have used home colour or products that affect the result 
  • You did not follow recommended aftercare 
  • More than 7 days have passed since your appointment
     

Each stylist may have their own additional terms, which they will communicate directly.


Product Refunds


For retail products purchased in the salon:

  • Unopened, unused products may be returned within 14 days 
  • Opened products can only be refunded if faulty
     

This applies to products sold directly through The LDH Studio.


How to Raise a Refund Request or Concern


Please contact your stylist directly using their booking or communication details.
