The LDH Studio - Etiquette & Expectations

At The LDH Studio, we’re committed to creating a calm, inclusive, and luxurious space where every client feels comfortable, respected, and beautifully cared for.
These guidelines help us maintain the atmosphere we’re known for and ensure your visit runs smoothly from start to finish.


Arriving for Your Appointment


Please arrive on time so your stylist can give you the full experience you deserve.

  • Arriving late may reduce your appointment time. 
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, your stylist may need to adjust the service or reschedule the appointment, which may incur a fee according to our Cancellation Policy.
     

Patch Testing & Consultations


Your safety comes first.
For all colour services:

  • A skin test must be completed 48 hours before your appointment. 
  • If this has not been completed, your appointment may need to be rearranged. 


For major transformations or extensions, a consultation may be required before booking.


Respect for Our Space & Team


The LDH Studio is home to a collective of self-employed, independent stylists, each running their own business with professionalism and care.

We kindly ask that clients:

  • Treat all stylists and guests with respect 
  • Refrain from aggressive, disrespectful, or disruptive behaviour 
  • Understand that each stylist manages their own services, pricing, and communication
     

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abusive behaviour.


Appointment Changes & Cancellations


Life happens — we get it.
If you need to cancel or change your appointment:

  • Please give at least 48 hours’ notice 
  • Late cancellations may incur a 75% fee 
  • No-shows may incur a 90% charge
     

These fees are managed directly by your stylist.


Children & Guests


We aim to keep the studio calm and comfortable for all clients.

We kindly ask:

  • Children be supervised at all times 
  • Only essential guests accompany you, as space is limited
     

This helps maintain a relaxing environment for everyone.


Food, Drinks & Personal Belongings


  • Drinks are welcome, but please avoid hot food to keep the space clean and pleasant. 
  • We recommend keeping your personal belongings with you at all times. 
  • The LDH Studio cannot take responsibility for lost or damaged items.
     

Photography & Social Media


We love showcasing our work, and with your permission, your stylist may take photos of your hair.

  • You may opt out at any time — just let us know. 
  • If you share your hair photos online, feel free to tag your stylist or @theldh_studio (optional but always appreciated!).
     

Honesty & Communication


Please communicate openly with your stylist about:

  • Your hair history 
  • Any allergies or sensitivities
  • Your goals and expectations 
  • Your lifestyle and maintenance preferences
     

This helps us tailor your appointment and deliver the best, healthiest results.


Aftercare & Maintenance


To maintain your results:

  • Follow your stylist’s aftercare instructions 
  • Use recommended products to protect your colour and hair health 
  • Book follow-up appointments as advised 
  • Understand that some transformations require multiple sessions
     

We want your hair to look gorgeous long after you leave the salon.


Respect for the Self-Employed Structure


Because each stylist is independent:

  • All questions about pricing, corrections, or refunds must be directed to your stylist 
  • The LDH Studio cannot adjust bookings, issue refunds, or make service decisions on behalf of stylists 
  • We can, however, help you get in touch with the right person
     

This ensures fairness and clarity for everyone.
